Rate card

Sworn translation rates, per page

Every figure below is a starting rate, in Indonesian Rupiah, per finished page. We publish them openly so you can build a budget without waiting for a sales reply.

How volume is counted

What counts as one page

A per-page rate only means something if the page is defined. This is the definition behind every quotation we issue.

Finished-page format

In that format, one page holds roughly 200 to 250 words of English or Indonesian. The count is taken from the translated output rather than the source document, because text length changes when it crosses languages.

  • A4 paper
  • Courier New typeface
  • 12 point
  • 1-1-1-1 inch margins
  • Double line spacing

Scans, photographs and locked PDFs can still be counted. We convert them to text first, then send you a page count to approve before work begins.

Terms applying to both tables

  • Rates already include translation and proofreading by our native speakers.
  • The figures above are our general rates. The final value depends on document difficulty, translation volume, file content, the industry specification of the material, any special client requirements, requested output formatting, and post-translation editing needs.
  • Discounts are available to all clients, particularly on high-volume projects. On qualifying promotional work the rate can start from IDR 40,000 per page — ask our client service team.
  • Other languages or content types outside these two tables can be discussed.

Page counting standard: an estimate of 200 to 250 words of English or Indonesian per page.

Support services

Translation is often only half the job. This is the half that gets the document actually accepted at its destination.

Support services are priced case by case because they depend on document count, destination country and agency queues. All of them land in a single written quotation before work starts — no follow-up invoices.
Volume

Tiers for large and recurring projects

The larger and more predictable the volume, the more coordination cost we can strip out — and that shows up in the quotation.

Tier 1

From 50 pages

  • A single named project owner
  • Glossary locked before work starts
  • Staged delivery so your team can review early
  • Tier rate confirmed in the quotation
Tier 2

From 200 pages

  • Style guide specific to your company
  • Scheduled progress reporting
  • One consolidated invoice per milestone
  • Tier rate confirmed in the quotation
Tier 3

Annual framework

  • Rates locked for the contract term
  • Reserved capacity quota
  • SLA with a named escalation path
  • Quarterly quality review

How we calculate discounts

We do not post automatic discount percentages, because the figure depends on language mix, repetition across the document set and how tight the deadline is. What we do commit to is showing the arithmetic: the quotation states the base rate, the reduction applied, and why.

To compare several vendors fairly, read the guide to writing a translation RFQ.

Service levels

Turnaround

3–5Working days — standard service for a corporate document set
2–3Working days — priority service
1–2Working days — express service, subject to capacity
<1 dayQuotation turnaround on working days

These estimates apply to document sets of reasonable size. Projects running to hundreds of pages are scheduled individually with a deadline confirmed in writing before work starts. Any express surcharge always appears in the quotation.

What moves the final price

Six variables behind one number

  1. Subject-matter difficulty

Credit facility agreements, patents and medical files demand far deeper terminology research than a routine certificate.

  2. Source document quality

Skewed scans, stamps covering text and handwriting all add reading time before translation can start.

  3. Layout rebuilding

Nested tables, diagrams and forms that must look identical to the original require separate typesetting work.

  4. The legalisation chain

Ministries, embassies or Apostille — each carries its own fee, queue and document requirements.

  5. Deadline

Work that has to cross a weekend or run parallel teams is priced differently from a normal schedule.

  6. Volume and repetition

A set of contracts sharing clauses creates efficiency that we return to the price.

Pricing questions

What buyers ask most often

Are these rates final?

No. The rate card is a starting point. The final figure is set in a written quotation once we have read your documents, and that figure holds until its stated expiry date.

Why count finished pages rather than source pages?

Because text length changes across languages. A dense page of 600 words is clearly not the same job as a page of 80 words. Counting the output keeps pricing comparable between documents. The full argument is in per page vs per word.

Is there a minimum charge?

There is a minimum billing threshold for very small jobs, because a single-sheet document still passes through the whole chain of translation, checking, stamping and binding. The threshold is stated in the quotation, before you approve anything.

Can we pay in a currency other than Rupiah?

Yes. We accept USD, EUR, SGD, JPY, CNY, THB and several other currencies by bank transfer or PayPal. The conversion rate applied is shown on the invoice.

Are taxes included?

Tax treatment is stated separately on the quotation and invoice according to your entity's status. Tell us your invoicing requirements at the request stage so the billing documents are correct from the first quotation.

Do revisions cost extra?

Correcting our own errors is free. Changes arising from a source document revised after work began count as new work, and we send the estimate first — never after the invoice.

Send one sample document, get a fixed-price quotation.

Our quoting team reads your document, counts finished pages, and locks the price before any work begins.
